Green Waste Facility

GEM Dirt operates commercial green waste facilities at our North and South locations. We are open year-round for FREE DUMPING OF LEAVES, GRASS CLIPPINGS AND MANURE. We do not accept any sticks or brush. The green waste facility is always open during regular working hours with extended hours during the heavy leaf season.

We will then take that product and recycle it through a process known as composting. We lay out the product in wind rows, keep it watered and turn it regularly to achieve ideal composting temperatures in the 150 degree range. Once fully cooked and broken down, this compost will be ideally suited for blending with sandy loam dirt to create eco-friendly and nutrient rich soils.
